In honor of International Human Rights Day we join our friends at Funny of Die in support of Shezanne “Shez” Cassim, an American living in the United Arab Emirates who has been imprisoned since April for posting a comedy video online.
The video is a 19-minute satire that pokes fun at a group of teens in Dubai who are influenced by hip-hop culture. Shez’s case is the equivalent of someone in the US getting thrown in jail for months, without bail, for shooting a parody video of Brooklyn hipsters.
